Given our backgrounds in art & design, there’s much to be admired in other classics on the road. Where some might not be suited for discussion here, we reckon the Classic Range Rover probably is.

Owning a Land Rover is an experience. It’s an experience that most motorists, in my humble opinion, should have at some point in their lives.

Over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th September 2023, The Dunsfold collection held a public open day, a chance to gain access to the famed collection of rare and impressive Land Rovers and take in the vast exhibit of collated materials.

The convoy is equivalent to many things, be it family, friendships or teams. On the face of it, it’s a collection of individuals heading in a direction together, physically or metaphorically.

We didn’t need to accelerate to 88mph. And there was no need for a flux capacitor or 1.21 Gigawatts of energy. All we needed was a Land Rover 110, special edition, worth something in the region of a quarter of a million pounds.

Owning a Land Rover is often described as being like owning a Meccano set. As a lego kid, I felt at a disadvantage when in the infancy of my ownership of Murph.
